Christopher MacQueen is a multi-media installation artist creating conceptual wall drawings that exist to serve as a platform for his ‘Infinite Geometries’ to populate and exist in space. Growing out of a simple visual vocabulary based on curved and straight lines; The ‘Infinite Geometries’ are forms or structures that occur on a two-dimensional plane but express and define a three-dimensional reality. These forms or structures are presented as both subject and backdrop that continue indefinitely and are often layered to produce a dynamic visual accumulation.
